Although I was associated with the Church of Scientology, I am now no longer associated with that group. I do not practice Scientology any more, in any form. I no longer call myself a Scientologist.
I do not recognize the authority of the Church of Scientology to tell me with whom I can or cannot associate. I will freely associate with anyone I want to, whether they are a Scientologist or not. I do not recognize Church of Scientology "orders" or "policy" on the subject of disconnection. And since I am no longer a member of the Church of Scientology, their policies do not apply to me (despite what they think).
I do not recognize the Church of Scientology as a church or a religious institution. I do not recognize the Church of Scientology's disconnection policy as having any similarity with a legitimate religion's shunning or excommunication practices.
